The Banca della Svizzera Italiana maintains an extensive collection of artworks—curated by Luca Cerizza—that are on display in the bank’s individual branches. Since 2006 the collection has been the focus of a series of publications.

The first monographs in the series focus on works by John Armleder, Daniel Buren, Liam Gillick, and Robert Barry for the bank’s new headquarters in Lugano. In addition to monographs focusing on Daniel Roth, Tony Cragg, and Alex Katz, the volumes “Il Sont Peintres” and “Maps and Legends” each document the rooms that were designed for their particular locations.
